About the Role

To provide assurance to GEMS Egypt Board/Audit Committee and GEMS Corporate Leadership that internal controls, governance processes and the risk management system, as designed and represented by the management are adequate and functioning correctly. This is achieved by conducting audits, risk assessments and special reviews within the agreed timeframe and supporting the Group Risk and Compliance activities in Egypt on need basis.

Key Accountabilities:
- Risk Assessment and Audit Plan Preparation
- Delivering the Audit Plan
- Enterprise Risk Management and Compliance
- Management Service Agreement (MSA)
- Reporting and Communication
- Stakeholders and Project Management
- Applying business analytics in Auditing
- Department Administration
- Cost savings

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Degree in Commerce / Business Administration or related area followed by an International Audit qualification such as CIA, ACCA, CPA and CA
- Over 6 years of experience in Audit, with at least 3 years in Internal Audit including some experience at the Big 4 audit firms
- At least 1 year as Asst. Manager or Manager with team/reporting responsibilities
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Core Audit Skills
- Analytical and problem solving skills
