To assist the SENCO in leading the provision for SEN within the main school
To manage appropriate resources for Learning Support and ensure that they are used efficiently, effectively and safely
To develop curriculum resources to ensure that students identified with SEN have the required levels of support
To manage and lead the Monitoring and Assessment (MA) category in the main school, and when appropriate ensure that emerging needs are met through Learning Support intervention
Within the context of the school’s aims and policies, to work with the SENCO to develop and implement Learning Support policies, plans, processes and practices

- Developing demand models to test projects’ viability in new markets based on market research.
- Primary and secondary research to validate assumptions to enable data-driven financial models and Investment Committee propositions.
- Driving the market research and data analytics component for the financial models.
- Preparing opportunity proposals for the Investment committee.
- Preparing correspondence and infographics for thought leadership and feedback to regulators.

Market Research & Data Analytics
Data Analytics (Internal)
- Harnessing data from Company Wide Phoenix, Salesforce & PowerBI interfaces to conduct analysis such as Student Demographic Analysis, Residential Location and Drive Time Analysis, Enquiry-Enrolment Conversion Analysis, Joiners-Leavers Analysis, Sibling Analysis, Academic Outcome Analysis, Customer Satisfaction & NPS Commentary Analysis.
Market Research (External)
- Secondary research using a variety of sources (e.g. analyst reports, market research reports, news articles, real estate and education publication and periodicals).
- Customer segmentation, market sizing, demand and competitor analysis, macroeconomic forecasting and make recommendations to support the company’s Business plan.
- Designing and executing in-depth interview guides to solve the problem statement with key organizational stakeholders, industry experts, customers, Education Business Group & Reporting with recommendations.
Competitor Intelligence:
- Participate in mystery visits (i.e. attending School and Nursery events, meet the principal events for competitor schools), Site visits and detailed study of non-GEMS schools that are prospective targets for management services.
- Conducting desk research, mystery calls and tracking Competitor Social Media content to gather intelligence about non-GEMS schools.
Investment Committee (IC)/SMC Deck preparation:
- Preparing data driven, insightful and visually captivating notes and reports for the Investment Committee /SMC.
Ed-Vantage (Management Contract Business) Process:
- Adhering a formal Decision to bid process for Management Contract opportunities.
- Developing a roadmap for the Opportunity, preparing, and pitching a ‘Scope of services’ to the client.
- Drafting Heads of Terms, identifying appropriate contractual risks and having them mitigated with the help of in-house legal team.
Regulatory Lobbying:
- Drafting reports and letters backed by external and internal data driven infographics to UAE Education regulators; lobbying to justify and corroborate industry feedback and narrative.
Third Party Research Engagements:
- Preparing scope of work for 3rd party research engagements.
- Aligning and curating survey designs of 3rd party research companies to help answer the problem statement.

JOB PURPOSE
The HR Assistant will provide the Academy with a comprehensive service that delivers HR best practice and commercially focused HR solutions that support the Academy in the delivery of its strategic objectives.
The HR Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the HR Manager and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of HR processes. You will be responsible for assisting with various administrative tasks and providing support across multiple areas of HR including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and HR records management.
Key Responsibilities
Models and encourages a culture of kindness in support of the GWA core values
Manage HR Assistant responsibilities in compliance with policies, procedures and systems
Maintain utmost confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Coordinates the Teaching License process with HR Manager
Create employee files for all new hires following the standard guidelines set by GEMS.
Ensure all files are organised and contain all relevant information, and ensure documents are up-to-date at all times.
Ensure compliance with all HR systems to maintain employee records.
Administer, monitor and explain insurance benefits to employees, serve as liaison between employees and insurance carriers. Support employees with insurance related queries.
Produce NOCs, salary certificates and salary transfer letters as required in a timely manner.
Support ERP project team with input on HR systems, policies and requirements where required.
Track approval process for all processes wherever other department’s signatures are required.
Run reports from D365 as required by the HR Manager or other areas of the business.
Maintains staff leave records e.g. annual, medical, holiday and personal leave days for payroll and ensuring accurate data entry in the Phoenix HR platform
Attends HR related meetings and all staff meetings
Performs other duties as assigned by the HR Manager and CEO/Principal
Prepare documentation required by the HR Manager and CEO/Principal during recruitment processes.
Prepare the documents required for onboarding, including visa and labour card processing requirements in liaison with the GRO
Prepare the welcome pack for all new hires and liaise with the IT Department to prepare the access cards and laptop/desktop.
To initiate, lead by example and actively promote the Academy’s vision and values, including the development of a strong learning community whose members show high respect for others, for the diversity of the community and for the environment
Undertake personal development through training and other learning activities including performance management as required

As the first contact person to the school, the receptionist ensures positive customers satisfaction during all interactions with existing and potential parents, visitors, staff, and students.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide an accurate and full range of information within the category requested (location, curriculum, admission procedure – including the booking of tours, tour information, administration, structure, etc.) to ensure the delivery of a quality customer service experience to all callers or visitors to the school.
- Respond to telephone calls and inquiries courteously and be able to direct calls to appropriate school personnel as part of the customer service provider for the school.
- Relate courteously with visitors and provide the appropriate welcome to the school to ensure a positive customer service experience.
- Actively support the Admissions team by contacting inquiries and conversion of new leads to enrolments and updating it in the system (CRM), cross-selling to other GEMS schools with open seats, conducting school tours wherever necessary, and assist in enrolment events as and when required.
- Maintain open lines of communication to new & prospective parents ensuring that their concerns and feedback are handled effectively and efficiently; liaising with other school personnel as required.
- Complete administration and secretarial tasks as assigned to support the broader Front of House team to achieve their objectives.
- Ensure the GEMS policies, procedures, and codes of conduct are followed at all times.
- Attend staff meetings and serve on committees as required.

Key Accountabilities:
Strategy & Financial
- Co-lead USP workshops together with cluster Comms leads and assist in articulating brand USPs for each school.
- Create annual marketing plans and drill down specific marketing initiatives by quarter in line with school objectives and evolving needs throughout the year.
- Develop marketing efforts that leverage cross-channel synergies to maximize reach and exposure supporting enrolment and/or awareness objectives.
- Manage annual marketing budgets for the assigned schools.
- Responsible for performance of key marketing KPIs and ROI for marketing campaigns at cluster schools.
- Provide input on development of policies, systems and processes to drive efficiency.
- Staying on top of trends and insights for the industry and beyond and sharing with relevant schools.
Paid Media Management
- Lead the development of media plans in collaboration with the schools and relevant SSC team members (digital, design, comms etc…)
- Offer guidance to schools regarding clarity and understanding of their target audience, as well as the relevant channels through which to engage them, ensuring effective media coverage for the school.
- Responsible for the full understanding of audience behaviour including enrolment curves. Provide recommendations for future campaigns accordingly.
Marketing & Brand Management
- Responsible for the conceptualization and production of all marketing campaigns and promotional activities for the schools in conjunction with relevant SSC team members/agencies.
- Ensure availability of creative assets including photography/videos and other relevant media for all schools.
- Identify, oversee and provide recommendations to assess the creative effectiveness of marketing plans. Continuously optimize campaign performance.
- Develop marketing materials and collateral in line with campaign/school needs eg. Fact sheets, brochures etc. together with SSC design or agencies as required.
- Support Sales/Enrolments teams as required with required asset and communication assets.
- Spearhead the adoption of marketing best practices and drive adoption throughout the cluster schools.
- Support adherence to brand identity standards at all times for both schools and GEMS Education.
Operational & Administrative
Ensure budget compliance, adherence to company policies as well as legislative and regulatory requirements for all campaigns. Conduct ongoing reviews with the schools.
Review network of vendors and partners in line with overall strategic business objectives
Serve as point of contact for external agencies as needed to ensure GEMS interests are best represented.
Coordinate and manage campaign materials review with relevant stakeholder and secure sign-offs prior to release.
Monitor competitive marketing activities and provide insights to the broader team as needed.
Team
- The position will be expected to guide and collaborate closely with the marketing representatives in schools.
- The position will be expected to work on designing, reviewing and supporting the execution of the school Marketing plans in collaboration with the assigned cluster BP and Communications lead.
- Other key stakeholders include Education SVPs and SSC Marketing, Communications and Enrolment teams.
