We are seeking to appoint an outstanding BTEC Hospitality Teacher to join our team from August 2027.

Skills and Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Hospitality Management, a relevant subject or an equivalent qualification, together with a recognised teaching qualification.

• Experience teaching BTEC Hospitality or a related vocational qualification at secondary level.

• Strong knowledge of BTEC assessment requirements, including assignment setting, internal assessment, feedback and student progress tracking.

• Relevant industry experience in hospitality, hotel management, food and beverage, events or a related field would be advantageous.

• The ability to deliver engaging, practical and industry-focused lessons that develop students' vocational knowledge and employability skills.

• A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning, with the ability to support and challenge students of all abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents.

• A willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities, extracurricular programmes and community engagement.
