Director of English

We are looking for an outstanding Director of English to join us at The Cambridge High School, Abu Dhabi. In support of the school curriculum, we are looking for a Director of English who is excited to join our school and is driven to provide education at an exceptional level.

The successful applicant should have the following:

Bachelor’s degree in the related subject. A certified teaching qualification such as BEd, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent with a specialization in English Minimum of 4 years of solid and demonstrable full time English teaching experience in a Secondary School.

Proven track record of achieving ‘Outstanding’ GCSE, AS and/or A-Level results in a British Curriculum School.

At least 2 years of experience of leading and managing a team to achieve ‘Outstanding’ outcomes.

A creative and enthusiastic approach both in and beyond the classroom.

Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work closely with students and parents.
