GEMS Winchester Private School Fujairah is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and caring Emirati Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning across the school. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment that enables all students to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences.
- Assist individual students and small groups with classroom activities and learning tasks.
- Help prepare and organize classroom resources and displays.
- Support students' social, emotional, and behavioural development.
- Supervise students during lessons, break times, educational activities, and school events as required.
- Assist with maintaining a safe, secure, and stimulating learning environment.
- Support students with additional learning needs where required.
- Undertake administrative tasks related to classroom activities.
- Follow all school safeguarding, health and safety, and child protection policies and procedures.
المهارات
- UAE National (Emirati) with a valid Family Book.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Previous experience working with children in a school, nursery, or childcare setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support student learning and wellbeing.
