The ideal candidate should have a strong track record in effective provision of counselling and guidance to students. While experience in the IB Diploma programmes is preferred, outstanding Career Counsellors from any curriculum background are encouraged to apply. Alignment with the IB philosophy and commitment to the Learner Profile values are crucial. Over 50% of our graduates attend universities in the UK, with the US, Canada, Europe and the UAE making up the majority of other destinations.

• A genuine passion for working in a non-selective and culturally diverse community is also a key requirement.
• A certified professional qualification at degree level, such as BA, BS or equivalent specialism in Counselling
• A minimum of 4 years experience as a School/Career Counsellor, ideally within an IB curriculum school, however, this is not mandatory
• The experience, personality and educational philosophy to continue to drive the education agenda, catering for students from over 100 countries
