الوصف الوظيفي
GR8 school is reinventing education around the individual learner. Our model combines AI-powered, self-paced academic learning with expert teaching, consistent personal guidance and direct access to professionals at the forefront of their fields. Students pursue academic excellence while developing the confidence, judgement and practical skills to apply what they learn.
Adaptive learning reveals what each student already knows, where understanding needs strengthening and when they are ready for greater challenge. This insight allows our team to personalise the learning journey and focus human expertise where it can make the greatest difference.
Learning Architects guide each student’s whole path across academic subjects and futures pathways. As the constant presence in the learning room, they build trusted relationships, sustain motivation and coordinate support. They also create and deliver workshops that develop essential personal, interpersonal and practical skills.
Academic Mentors bring deep subject expertise and a passion for teaching. They curate the digital learning experience and take responsibility for subject progression, working directly with students through high-impact one-to-one and small-group interactions. Their masterclasses deepen understanding and prepare students for assessments and high-stakes examinations.
Futures Mentors connect curiosity with authentic experience across all curricula. Drawing on industry and professional expertise, they help students explore questions alongside scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs and other practitioners. Students can investigate a global challenge, develop an invention or pursue a venture, discovering how knowledge can change the world around them.
Together, these roles ensure every student is known, challenged, supported and inspired. We are seeking ambitious colleagues to help design, soft-launch and refine GR8, turning this vision into a daily experience for young people.
Job summary
We are looking for teachers who can recognise a young person’s potential and help them believe in it. As a Learning Architect, you will be the trusted, constant presence in the learning room for an allocated cohort, and the primary point of contact for students and parents. You will champion each student’s progress across every academic subject and futures pathway.
You will turn insight into encouragement, purposeful goals and timely support. As Academic and Futures Mentors rotate through specialist sessions, you will maintain continuity, coach students towards independence and create and deliver skills workshops that help them take on bigger challenges.
Key responsibilities
· Know each student and champion their potential, building trusted relationships, understanding their aspirations and recognising the barriers that may hold them back.
· Create an energising learning environment, providing a consistent presence in the room, sustaining motivation and helping students persist when independent learning becomes challenging.
· Guide each student’s whole learning journey, setting ambitious, achievable goals, reviewing progress across subjects and futures pathways, and helping students manage priorities and workload.
· Use learning data alongside professional judgement to recognise gaps, disengagement or readiness for greater challenge, coordinating timely support with Academic and Futures Mentors.
· Build the confidence to learn independently through one-to-one coaching in planning, reflection and resilience, helping students act on feedback and take ownership of their next steps.
· Create and lead compelling skills workshops, including critical thinking, communication, collaboration, financial literacy and entrepreneurship, drawing on mentor input and connecting workshops to students’ wider learning.
· Lead communication with parents, providing a coherent picture of progress, celebrating achievement and coordinating responses to concerns.
· Coordinate support across the team, sharing relevant observations, tracking agreed actions and following up on interventions and project milestones.
· Monitor student wellbeing and inclusion, recognising emerging needs and working with relevant colleagues to arrange appropriate support.
· Help shape GR8 from its foundations, designing and testing routines and workshops, contributing to the soft launch and using student feedback to refine the model.
· Uphold school policies and safeguarding practice, maintaining accurate records, protecting student information and acting promptly on welfare concerns.
