PE Teacher

We are looking for an experienced and passionate PE Teacher to join our team commencing in September 2024.

This role is for an exceptional person that can quickly become part of our high performing, fast-paced environment and are committed to providing a wide range of sporting provision for our 3680 learners both inside and outside of curriculum time. The successful candidate will be required to teach across the school, including academic PE at KS4. It is desirable that the person has gained experience of teaching Cambridge IGCSE, OCR Nationals or BTECs in the field of sport.

Applicants to be fully qualified teachers with exceptional subject knowledge and experience.

Qualification:

A certified professional teaching qualification such as B.Ed., PGCE, PGDE or equivalent.

(Distance or open university degrees are not accepted unless MOE equivalency is obtained). HPL (High Performance Learning) experience will be an added advantage. All certificates should be duly attested.

Experience:

Practical experience in Physical Education for at least two years with sufficient knowledge of administrative aspects, knowledge of the curriculum and policies and procedures related to the care and protection of children. The candidate should be able to provide a letter of experience to confirm this.
