Primary Business Teacher - August 2026

Due to the continued success of our GEMS Metropole School Al Waha (MTW), we are looking to recruit a Primary Business Teacher for August 2026.

As a Primary Business Teacher, you will support students in developing enterprise skills, financial literacy, problem-solving and an understanding of the wider world of work, embedding real-life learning opportunities within the primary curriculum. The curriculum is complemented by outstanding facilities and resources, including a large forest with over 170 trees, a farm with animals and crops, a bio-cube tropical eco-system home to our resident poisonous dart frog, unique BTEC offerings including an electronic automotive engineering workshop, excellent performing arts facilities and state-of-the-art sporting facilities.

Successful candidates will need to:

Embody and role model our core values of curiosity, confidence, creativity, respect and kindness
Hold a BEd or Bachelor’s degree with PGCE / PGDE or equivalent
Have proven experience teaching business, enterprise or related subjects within a primary or lower school setting
Demonstrate the ability to deliver engaging, age-appropriate business and enterprise learning
Share and model exemplary teaching practice
Adopt a creative and enthusiastic approach, both inside and outside the classroom
Possess excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues, students and parents
Have a proven track record of delivering high-quality learning and teaching
Aspire to work in a world-class school with strong opportunities for career progression
Be willing to make a positive contribution to the wider school community through extra-curricular activities and community-based events
