Gems Modern Academy is seeking a dynamic and dedicated IBO Certified and Primary Years Programme (PYP) Homeroom Teacher to join our passionate team of educators. Position: PYP Homeroom Teacher with Experience in Math and Science
Key Responsibilities:
Homeroom Leadership: Take on the role of a homeroom teacher for a designated PYP grade level, providing a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Curriculum Implementation: Implement the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme, ensuring that lessons are inquiry-based and aligned with the school's mission and values.
Student Assessment: Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and supporting individualized learning needs.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other teachers, specialists, and staff members to create an integrated and cohesive educational experience for students.
Parent Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents through regular updates, conferences, and other channels to foster a strong home-school partnership.
Professional Development: Actively engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay informed about current educational trends and best practices.
المهارات
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Teaching certification and/or accreditation.
Prior experience teaching in an IB PYP school, with a background in Math and Science, is highly preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
