The centralized Compliance function is a newly established function within GEMS Education. The Senior Compliance Manager will be supporting the VP Risk & Compliance in setting up and driving the compliance function for GEMS Corporate Office, GEMS Entities and our Schools.
Review the current state of compliance related to the UK listing rules. Propose changes to related processes and reporting tools if required
Review the current state of compliance related to relevant regulations (such as but not limited to educational and infrastructural regulations). Propose changes to related processes and reporting tools if required.
University Degree or equivalent
8- 10 years compliance experience in internationally operating companies, UK listed company experience is a must.
Job-Specific Knowledge & Skills:
Experience in the educational sector is preferred.
Knowledge of UK listing rules
Extensive experience in development and facilitating compliance training and/or workshops
Project management skills
