Manage the design and implementation of ERP Procurement suite and ongoing upgrades. Advise and lead technical design and implementation of automation of processes, provide first level support for all systems pertaining to procurement, Provide continuous improvement for both systems and internal processes, including potential interfaces with other departments.
Ensures all systems and processes are best in class and ERP systems processes are functioning correctly, automates new improvements, and identifies and tests changes where appropriate.
Design and implement
Design and implement a Hybrid ERP solution and provide first line technical support for procurement users.
Partner with internal customers to identify business process issues.
Provide expertise, leadership and support to GEMS MENASA organisations top drive overall productivity program, promoting best practice sharing, benchmarking, market intelligence etc.
Partner with key cross functional business partners to scope, objectives, deliverables and execution to the defined plan and training of end users in the processes.
Ability to deliver e solutions to the procurement team and ensure they are robust with compliance, and audit. Such as E-RFx, E-marketplace, E-Auctions, vendor portal and contracts database.
BSC degree. (MBA desirable)
5+ years’ experience in a similar or larger organization.
Job-Specific Knowledge & Skills:
ERP experience a must (DAX advantageous but SAP, Oracle, Bravo also considered)
English with Arabic desirable.
Solid procurement understanding
Experience in implementing, operating and continuously improving purchasing performance management systems.
Can operate in a matrix driven structure, able to support cross functional projects
Excellent core professional skills, (General strategic skills, project management, experience in procurement processes, compliance with business policies, PC skills).
