Human Resources Manager will implement people strategies and provide
consultative HR support to leaders across our schools in KSA. He/she will
partner with the school leadership, and center of excellence staff, to lead
scalable best practice P&O practices including talent and performance
development, compensation, leadership recruiting, employee relations,
organization design and employee engagement to drive forward the GEMS strategy
Assist in the implementation of KSA’s HR strategy in line with the organization vision, mission and business strategy and objectives, both long and short term. Contribute to all initiatives to achieve the above vision, mission, strategy and objectives.
Talent Management Agenda
Lead a culture of Talent development mindset which results in the support of the growth of talent, execution of talent actions plans, and an internal talent leadership pipeline
Induction and Employer Branding
Standardize a new employee induction program for non-education employees. Directs a process of organizational planning that evaluates structure, job design, and manpower forecasting throughout the company. Coordinates such activities across division lines. Evaluates organizational plans and changes to plans. Makes recommendations to senior management.
HR Policies and Processes
Develop, implement and effectively communicate HR policies and processes to create a motivating environment for employees.
HR Business Planning
Provide all departmental heads with appropriate HR inputs to complete their HR and Business Plans in line with the KSA overall planning strategy.
Implement and manage an effective performance management system which supports measurement of performance and motivates employees at all levels to higher levels of performance.
Be a source of expertise and provide appropriate advice on the whole range of HR functions to departmental heads.
Payroll management, coordinating with the Finance team.
Manage and support the PRO with their functions.
Office workspace planning of new furniture as required to maintain a pleasant working environment.
Management of required government, ministry and federation documentation and approvals.
General duties to include company car management, all insurances, hardware and software requirements plus internet connection.
Change Management Champion
Championing the latest P&O process and practice. Analyze processes, data and trends to make recommendations to the leadership team for continuous improvement of HR processes in GEMS schools.
Qualifications & Experience
Human Resources, Business Administration BA, or equivalent
Proven successful experience of 7-10 years’ experience in Human Resources, including 4-5 years in a Managerial position
Must have good knowledge of KSA labor law
Must have excellent communication skills
