About the Role

The Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Girls is a leading US Curriculum school, delivering an outstanding education from KG – to Grade 12.  The school is co-educational from KG to Grade 3, and girls only from Grade 4 upward.   As a GEMS-managed school, SZPAG has, since opening in 2000, established a reputation across the UAE for its high quality education, modern facilities and innovative use of technology.

Due to the unique nature of our school the position is open to female candidates only.
We wish to appoint a forward thinking and dynamic early elementary teacher to expand our international teaching staff. We need great classroom practitioners, with UK, US or IB curriculum experience, who are keen to develop as teachers, gain new curriculum understandings, and embrace the culture of the UAE. Exceptional CPD opportunities are available to all teachers including the NPQML, NPQSL and NPQH in addition to GEMS professional qualifications. 


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
  • PGCE or equivalent university qualification in Education
  • A minimum of 3 years teaching experience
  • A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check.
