About the Role

Provide support to the UniConnect, Alumni and Student Services teams to guide and support GEMS students and Alumni to make their best decisions for Higher Education and Employment opportunities.

Key Accountabilities

  • Work closely with the Managers for UniConnect, Alumni and Student Employment Services programmes to support partnerships and opportunities for GEMS students
  • Process and centrally upload MOUs to chosen CRM systems, ensuring timely and accurate records of opportunities at all times
  • Use dashboards and reporting tools to support the work of the Managers and any other ad-hoc data requirement to the management
  • Hold training sessions for Programme Champions, teachers and students to ensure all updates to the programmes are understood and are actioned accordingly
  • Update pre-approved Social Media content to related sites
  • Support the updating of events calendars and distributing of newsletters and partner updates to champions and counsellors across the GEMS schools network
  • Oversee accurate internal databases and accessibility as required
  • Support and follow up on technical updates and developments related to the programmes as required
  • Oversee timely creation of collateral and attend external and internal events as required
  • Support on the development and implementation of various aspects of the programmes as required, including support with events, marketing and ad-hoc tasks as required

Expected Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Expected Experience:

  • 3 + years’ administrative or support role

Job-Specific Knowledge & Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to develop and deliver basic presentations
  • Problem solver
  • Competent IT skills and an expert Microsoft Office user
