The Data & Reporting Analyst will be part of the People & Organization Department that supports the entire network of GEMS Education schools in MENASA. The Analyst will be focused on analyzing and reporting on all HR-related data, providing key insights on trends and patterns to enable strategic decision-making and predictive planning. The analyst will also prepare reports and drive the automation agenda for data reporting.
Key Accountabilities:
- Use automated and manual tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources in the business.
- Design, build and maintain dashboards for the senior management and support decision-making by the wider HR team.
- Performing analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data to feed into the single source of truth.
- Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for diagnosis and prediction.
- Analyzing local, national, and global trends that impact both the organization and the industry.
- Preparing reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
Expected Qualifications:
- Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Economics
- Masters in data science is desirable
Expected Experience:
- 2-5 years in a similar role
- HR or Education industry experience is an advantage
Job Specific Skills:
- Knowledge of data visualization software like Power BI
- Experienced in building and maintaining databases
- Experienced with Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Adept at queries, writing reports, and preparing presentations
