About the Role

We are looking to hire the Executive PA who will provide our CEO/Principal with a comprehensive service that delivers best practice and support. 

The Executive PA to the CEO / Principal will work closely with the CEO / Principal to manage their schedule and organise their working day. They will act as a gatekeeper managing the various priorities and ensuring that adequate time is given to each. The job is exceptionally busy and requires excellent organisation skills. There will be a variety of tasks to be completed, and the PA will need to have a thorough understanding of all elements of the Academy. As the tasks are so varied and determined by the CEO / Principal’s needs, work will be generated throughout the day. 

The Executive PA role is to support the CEO / Principal to be effective, managing all aspects of the Academy’s office. 

With the Principals and the Assistant Principals, the post-holder will (i) support  cross checking of all the policies, decision-making processes and strategic planning involved in the area of responsibility (ii) realise the ethos of an IB learning organisation with high expectations of students and staff, and a positive approach to internationalism, entrepreneurialism and innovation (iii) acts as an ambassador for the school and performs all job duties in an efficient, professional, and confidential manner (iv) takes initiative to improve systems and processes to aid in efficiency and effectiveness.

The ideal candidate must have:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Business Management. 

At least 5 years’ demonstrable experience as Personal Assistant to a Senior Member in an organization. Preference will be given to candidates with experience within education industry, however, this is not mandatory.

History of successful partnering with Senior Management Teams and other relevant stake holders.

Resilient and agile decision making skills.

High general level of literacy and numeracy.

Impeccable and competent ICT skills.

Superior interpersonal skills that reflect patience, tolerance, sensitivity, empathy and enthusiasm for working with students, parents and school staff in a multicultural and international setting.

Commitment to high standards, best value and continuous improvement.

A ’can-do’ approach and positive attitude to innovation and change.
