Job Description:
The Recruitment Associate will be a part of the People and Organisation Department and will support the GEMS Emiratisation initiative at the Schools and our School Support Centre. S/he is responsible for the full spectrum of the recruitment plan, from coordination with MoHRE, Tawteen, advertising vacancies, shortlisting and interviewing candidates to closing successful hires and ensuring the best possible candidate experience throughout the process.
Job Responsibilities:
- Consistent implementation of robust recruitment processes and best practices.
- Support the development and implementation of the Emiratisation initiative program
- Lead and deliver on the recruitment of all vacancies within challenging KPIs.
- Long list and shortlist applicants to make recommendations for the next stage as per the recruitment operating model.
- Be a brand ambassador for GEMS Education and develop quality relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process from initial contact, through interview and onboarding processes, ensuring a positive candidate experience at all times.
- Maintain an external pipeline of candidates for short/medium/long-term opportunities, with a focus on hard-to-fill roles.
- Keep abreast of developments within the company and globally to map recruitment needs.
- Implement employer branding initiatives and marketing campaigns to promote GEMS Education as an employer of choice.
- Effectively utilise ATS to ensure all candidates are tracked through each stage of the recruitment process.
- Maintain robust reports for internal and external reporting.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
Expected Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
Expected Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of recruitment experience is essential, with some experience in agency recruitment preferred
- Experience of working in the Education sector is preferred
Job-Specific Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Ability to work with stakeholders.
- Experience working with MoHRE, Tawteen, and Nafis is an advantage.
- Used to working with challenging targets in a KPI-driven environment.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, good drafting & conceptualisation skills.
- A good implementer of major talent acquisition initiatives.
- Literate in all basic computer and HRMIS skills.
- Good judgemental skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
