About the Role

 

We, at GEMS International School, are looking for a qualified and experienced SIS/LMS (ISAMS) Administrator to join us.

If you are excited to join a world class school and are driven to provide Technical Support at an exceptional level, this may be the ideal role for you.

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to: 

  • The SIS/LMS Administrator should be a team player, service oriented and eager to learn
  • He/She needs to have logical and analytical thinking skills and possess excellent ICT skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, databases and experience in SIMS/LMS. 
  • Co-ordinate with the leaders of Data and Assessment to ensure the correct data collection procedures and reporting processes are in place on SIMS.
  • Co-ordinate with GEMS Corporate and provide access to academic reports, CAT4 & MAP data.
  • Input data where necessary into all of the SIMS/LMS modules
  • Adding students and teachers onto the SIMS/LMS system / set up new user accounts and logins
  • Trouble shoot issues with TV's, printers, WIFI, mobile devices and peripherals
  • Production of class lists, medical, dietary and attendance reports and ensure they are updated on a regular basis
  • Manage school timetables in ISAMS

 

Qualifications, Experience and skills required

  • Degree in Computer Science or Information Management
  • 2-3 years work experience in a similar role
  • The IT Officer is required to have a good understanding of how the school works with experience in administration of data management systems
