We are currently recruiting a Primary SENDCO to join our team from September 2023.
Applicants will be fully qualified teachers with exceptional subject knowledge and experience.
Key roles and responsibilities will be to:
Oversee the teaching and support of our SEND students across the School.
Lead the Inclusion and ELL teams, including our LSA team.
Monitor, and report upon progress of SEND students.
Liaise with all stakeholders including parents, external therapists and external providers.
Manage the Inclusion register and associated documents to ensure accuracy and transparency.
Work with admissions team and senior leaders to ensure all prospective students are accurately assessed prior to entry.
Qualification:
To be considered, you will require a Bachelor’s degree with further SEND/leadership qualification. Ideally this would include SENCO qualification.
The successful candidate will be resilient with excellent written and verbal communication skills. They will have experience of leading a team and effecting change in an educational setting and will have detailed knowledge of SEND and ELL teaching.
