GEMS Winchester Private School Fujairah is seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Principal – Teaching & Learning & Curriculum to join our Senior Leadership Team.
This key leadership role will drive excellence in teaching, learning, curriculum design, and literacy across the whole school, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality English National Curriculum from Pre-KG to Grade 12. The successful candidate will lead school-wide improvement initiatives, support professional development, and work closely with leaders and teachers to enhance student outcomes in a diverse, multilingual learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop teaching and learning across all phases of the school.
- Drive curriculum innovation, coherence, and quality assurance.
- Champion literacy and language development across the curriculum.
- Lead professional learning, coaching, and leadership development.
- Monitor and evaluate teaching standards and curriculum effectiveness.
- Contribute to whole-school improvement planning and strategic leadership.
Skills Description
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- A recognised teaching qualification and relevant degree.
- Proven leadership experience in teaching, learning, and curriculum improvement.
- Strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
- Experience supporting diverse learners, including students with English as an Additional Language (EAL).
- Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- A commitment to ensuring outstanding outcomes for all students.
