We are delighted to announce a new opening of the highly successful GEMS Founders brand in Dubai for the academic year beginning September 2024. The school will be located in a new residential development in Dubai and will offer a high-quality British curriculum school at an affordable price point.
From April 2024, we are looking to recruit for a Cashier who will support the Accountant with the accurate accounting of the schools financial transaction.
Key Accountabilities:
- Receive and receipt school tuition / fee payments and to accurately report this information to the school Accountant
- Disbursement of petty cash including reconciliation and balance of petty cash.
- Prepare banking deposits as required.
- Keep records of fee concessions and all related records pertaining to other school income.
- Support with any other day to day operational requirements within accounts team.
- Ensure that GEMS policies, procedures and code of conduct are followed at all times.
Skills
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school certificate
- Certificate in accounting
- Computer data entry skills including report summaries
- Accounting experience, 1 year experience minimum
