Female Bus Conductor

We are looking for a female bus conductor to join our team at GEMS National School, Al Barsha with an immediate start.

• Embrace and encourage the ethos and standards of excellence as defined in the GEMS Core Values.
• Attend training courses as required to enhance job performance.
• Inspection of school buses for safety and security of all passengers.
• Ensure safe and orderly conduct of students while traveling; and report any irregularities or misconduct immediately through the correct channels.
• Under all circumstances ensure that no unauthorized persons board the bus.
• Assist the bus driver in ensuring that students are collected and dropped off in a timely manner from designated locations; and only handed over to pre-authorized persons.
• Be aware of the school’s security and emergency procedures.
• Attend to general campus duties (maintenance, furniture moving, cleaning etc.) as and when assigned.
• Ensure the GEMS policies, procedures, and codes of conduct are followed at all times.
• Initiate effort and energy beyond the typical work day, where the tasks require additional commitment.
• Attend staff meetings and serve on committees as required. 
• Perform other duties as requested by direct & dotted reporting line managers / supervisors.

Good English language skills including reading, writing, speaking.

A willing ability to multi task and work beyond official work hours when requested.
