GEMS School of Research and Innovation (SRI) is seeking outstanding educators to join our founding Arabic and Islamic Education Department, including roles for:

• Arabic A Teachers

• Arabic B Teachers

• Islamic A Teachers

• Islamic B Teachers

If you have a year group specialism (ex. Early Years) in any of the expertise areas listed above please ensure this is clearly stated in your cover letter and CV.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences aligned with national and school curriculum standards, tailored to meet the needs of a diverse student body.

• Contribute to a high-performing department that embraces technology, innovation, and research-driven instruction across all phases.

• Foster a learning environment that supports student engagement, cultural appreciation, and academic success.

• Collaborate effectively within the department and across the school to plan lessons, assess student progress, and provide interventions where needed.

• Engage actively in school life, supporting community events, promoting Arabic and Islamic values, and contributing to the school’s broader educational mission.

Person Specification:

• Hold a BEd or Bachelor’s degree in Arabic or Islamic Studies that matches your areas of experise and your teaching interest

• A UAE recognised Teaching License/Qualification. 

• A Master’s degree or equivalent qualification is preferred

• Minimum 3 years' teaching experience in the relevant subject area, with experience across at least two phases (Early Years, Primary, or Secondary) considered an advantage

• Strong understanding of the UAE National Agenda and moral education framework

• Clear evidence of KHDA frameworks and expectations

• Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and educational excellence

• A collaborative and forward-thinking approach, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Experience in an international or British curriculum school setting is desirable
