Job Description

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Head of Art to join our team in September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for ambitious teachers to further their careers with a globally leading organisation at a world-class international school in Dubai. Opened in 2014, GEMS FirstPoint School is a Premium British Curriculum school located in the heart of The Villa community, Dubai. The school currently provides exceptional education to around 2,000 students from Nursery (age 2) to Year 13, with exciting plans for future expansion.

Our campus boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including a dedicated sports and performing arts centre, swimming pools, theatre, sports hall, dance, drama, and music rooms. Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience as Head of Art with A level and GCSE experience
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in art or equivalent.
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • Strong classroom practice with proven ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and personalised learning.
  • Willingness to contribute to wider school life and professional learning culture.
