Head of Mathematics - August 2026

We are recruiting for an outstanding Head of Mathematics to join the GEMS Education network in Dubai from August 2026.

The successful candidate will bring strong subject expertise and a proven ability to lead, develop, and inspire a team of dedicated teachers.

Successful applicants will have:

• A Bachelor of Education degree, or an initial degree in relevant subject area, plus a relevant teaching qualification such as a PGCE/PGDE/teaching license or Level 5 equivalent specialism in Mathematics.
• Proven leadership experience within a Mathematics department or clear potential to step into a Head of Department role.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to lead on curriculum planning, assessment, and staff development.
• A consistent track record of outstanding teaching and learning, with evidence of excellent student progress and achievement.
• Experience teaching within the the IB framework and/or American curriculum is highly desired across the Mathematics faculty.
