Head of MOE - for AY 2025 -2026

The Head of MOE Subjects will lead and manage the effective delivery of the Ministry of Education curriculum across Arabic (for native and non-native speakers) and Islamic Education. The role involves curriculum development, staff leadership, compliance with MOE regulations, and ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and management of the MOE departments.

• Ensure the curriculum aligns with the UAE Ministry of Education guidelines and is delivered to a high standard.

• Oversee lesson planning, curriculum delivery, and assessment strategies for Arabic, Islamic, and UAE Social Studies.

• Monitor and support the professional development of department staff.

• Liaise with school leadership and the MOE to ensure compliance with educational regulations and inspections.

• Lead on the preparation and execution of external and internal audits related to MOE subjects.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in teaching methodologies.

• Support whole-school initiatives, events, and community engagement relevant to MOE subjects.

• Ensure effective communication with parents regarding student progress in MOE subjects.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arabic, Islamic Studies, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

• Teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed., or equivalent).

• Minimum of 5 years teaching experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role in a similar capacity.

• Deep understanding of UAE MOE curriculum requirements.

• Bilingual in Arabic and English (preferred).

• Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a diverse team of teachers.
