Head of Phase (Foundation Stage) - September 2024

We are looking for an outstanding Head of Phase (Foundation Stage) to join GEMS Wellington Academy, Al Khail from September 2024. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to make an impact in the growth and development of the Foundation Stage at GEMS Wellington Academy, Al Khail on our journey to 'Outstanding'. As an out-of-class middle leader, you will work alongside the Primary Leadership Team to ensure the children in our Early Years Centre have the best start in their learning journey.

To do this, the Foundation Stage Phase Leader will be accountable for providing professional leadership and management in the development of curriculum so as to secure high-quality teaching, effective use of resources and improved standards of learning and achievement for all pupils. The Foundation Stage Phase Leader will also actively participate in whole-school self-evaluation and school improvement planning and will be responsible for the coaching, mentoring and development of all staff within their phase.

• A B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent in Primary teaching or similar 
• Have experience of teaching British curriculum
• Exceptional subject knowledge 
• Experience of working within a high performing teaching team
• A proven track record of providing outstanding teaching and learning
• At least 2 years of experience teaching the National Curriculum of England
