We are seeking an exceptional History Teacher to join our team at GEMS Wellington, Dubai Hills, from August 2027.

History delivers strong outcomes, with 92.1% of GCSE pupils achieving Grades 9–4 (31.6% at Grade 9) and 100% of A Level pupils achieving an A grade. The department offers IGCSE and International A Level History alongside Edexcel A Level Politics. A team of four History and Politics specialists bring complementary expertise, and their collaborative approach has helped grow the A Level cohort significantly. Prospective candidates will join an experienced department with strong results, a diverse curriculum, and genuine opportunities to lead educational trips both locally and abroad.

Skills Description
- Hold a B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent qualification in Historyor a related subject
- Have at least two years’ experience teaching the National Curriculum for England
- Demonstrate exceptional subject knowledge
- Have experience working as part of a high-performing teaching team
- Have a proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning
- Have experience teaching within a British curriculum school
