Position Overview
We are seeking an outstanding High School IB Business Teacher to join our exceptional team from January 2027. The successful candidate will inspire curiosity, foster a passion for Business enquiry and contribute to the continued success of one of the UAE's leading international schools.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and interactive IB Business lessons to high school students, following the school's curriculum and educational standards.
- Develop and implement creative and effective teaching strategies to inspire a love for IB Business and foster critical thinking skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Ensure continuity in the delivery of curriculum content.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages curiosity and exploration.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment opportunities and professional learning.
Skills Description
Successful Candidate
- Hold a Bachelor of Education degree, or an initial degree together with a relevant teaching qualification such as a PGCE, State License, or equivalent specialising in Business.
- Have proven experience teaching IB Business at High School level, ideally within an American or IB curriculum school.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of inquiry-based learning and practical Business instruction.
- Be an excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
- Show a commitment to continually improve their practice and deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences for their students.
