Job Description

Teaching and Learning

To ensure that effective teaching and learning strategies are consistently embedded, promoting high standards for student progress and supporting the ongoing development of professional practice.

  •  Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective Islamic B lessons in line with curriculum and school expectations.
  • Inspire students academically, morally, and spiritually through high-quality Islamic Education.
  • Maintain high expectations for student engagement, behaviour, and achievement.
  • Use assessment data to monitor progress, provide feedback, and support student improvement.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students, including those requiring additional support Contribute to the review and development of Islamic B schemes of work and curriculum planning


Curriculum and Department Contribution

  • Contribute to the review and development of Islamic B schemes of work and curriculum planning.
  • Ensure continuity and progression within the secondary Islamic curriculum
  •  Work collaboratively with colleagues to share good practice and improve teaching and learning
  • Support departmental initiatives, events, and enrichment activities

 

Professional Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and learning
  • Uphold school policies, including assessment, marking, behaviour, safeguarding, and health and safety
  •  Participate fully in meetings, professional development, and whole-school events
  • Demonstrate professionalism in punctuality, conduct, and appearance at all times
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to continually improve practice
