We are seeking to appoint an outstanding KS5 Science Teacher to join our team from August 2027.

Skills and Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Science or a relevant scientific subject, together with a recognised teaching qualification.

• Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching Science at secondary level, with the ability to teach KS5 Science.

• Experience delivering A Level Biology, Chemistry or Physics, depending on specialism, would be advantageous.

• A strong understanding of curriculum planning, assessment and examination requirements at KS5.

• The ability to deliver engaging, challenging lessons that develop students' scientific knowledge, practical investigation skills and analytical thinking.

• A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning, enabling students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents.

• A willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities, extracurricular programmes and community engagement.
