Laboratory Technician

GEMS World Academy-Dubai (GWA) is a private, co-educational IB World School for PreK to Grade 12 students. THE ROLE

We are looking to appoint an outstanding Laboratory Technician to work at the GEMS World Academy School. 

The role of the Science Laboratory Technician is to provide academic logistical support to the teachers and students in the Secondary Science Department. The direct supervisor is the Director of Learning for Science. Science laboratory technicians are considered part of a team working alongside teachers in the classroom as well as in the preparation rooms.

Job-Specific Knowledge & Expected Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or minimum higher education
• At least 3 years’ classroom / Lab experience in Dubai
• English Speaker with exceptional skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to multi-task and cope with peaks of demand
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisational skills
