Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Middle School Math Teacher to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for teaching MS Math.
This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is passionate about Math Education and is eager to contribute to the Academic success of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and interactive Math to Middle School students, following the school's curriculum and educational standards.
- Develop and implement creative and effective teaching strategies to inspire a love for science and foster critical thinking skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Provide support to All MS Math classes as needed, ensuring continuity in the delivery of curriculum content.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages curiosity and exploration.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress.
Skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a related field.
- A certified professional teaching qualification, such as B.Ed, PGCE or equivalent specializing in Mathematics.
- Proven experience teaching Math at the middle school level.
- Strong knowledge of inquiry-based learning and hands-on Math education.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues
Skills:
- Skilled teacher with solid commitment to teaching and learning and strong subject knowledge in relevant area.
- Excellent communication skills able to build relationships with students and colleagues and contribute to wider school life.
