Job Description

GEMS Royal Dubai school is vibrant Premium Primary School (FS1 – Year 6) with 850 students from over 68 nationalities and accredited as a World-Class High Performance Learning School. We are looking for a dynamic and passionate individuals to join us as a Performing Arts Teacher for September 2024. The successful candidates will be self-motivated, have proven success in driving standards and be committed to the pursuit of excellence for all. Job Purpose:

To teach performing arts enabling an outstanding, holistic, and dynamic experience for our students which lead to exceptionally high outcomes.

  • Be creative and enthusiastic in approach to teaching

  • Make a positive contribution to our school community and culture through active engagement in our extra-curricular programme and community based events
  • Actively pursue your own professional development as a teacher.
  • To carry out any other reasonable duties as directed by the CEO and Principal.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A B.Ed or subject related degree and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent in Drama, performing arts or Music
  • Proven qualified experience teaching Drama or music using the British Curriculum
  • Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work closely with students and parents.
