Job Description

Plan and deliver structured PE lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives.

Foster physical literacy, coordination, balance, and teamwork through age-appropriate games and activities.

Promote a safe and inclusive environment that encourages participation from all students.

Assess student performance and provide feedback to support growth in physical competence and understanding.

Organize and participate in school sports events, inter-house or inter-school competitions, and field days.

Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate movement and wellness across the curriculum.

Maintain equipment, manage inventory, and ensure safe usage of sports facilities.
-
Communicate with parents as needed regarding student progress, behavior, or health-related concerns.

Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and school community events.
- Ensure GEMS policies, procedures, and codes of conduct are followed at all times.
Skills
Qualifications and Skills:
-
Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Physical Education.

Prior teaching experience at the primary/elementary level is strongly preferred.

Knowledge of child development and physical education pedagogy.
-
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
-
Energetic, enthusiastic, and a positive role model for students.
