GEMS Metropole School Al Waha is seeking a dedicated and qualified School Doctor to join our team. The School Doctor will play a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of students and staff, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
Skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first aid and emergency medical care to students and staff.
- Conduct regular health assessments and screenings in line with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) regulations.
- Manage vaccination programs and monitor for infectious diseases.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for all students.
- Educate the school community on health, hygiene, and preventive care.
- Liaise with parents, staff, and healthcare professionals regarding student health concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all DHA health and safety standards.
- Support the development and implementation of health-related policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Degree in Medicine (MBBS) or equivalent.
- Valid DHA license or eligibility to practice as a doctor in Dubai.
- Experience in pediatric care or school health is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a multicultural and collaborative environment.
- Knowledge of mental health and child well-being is a plus.
