Inventory Management
- Receiving and inspecting deliveries: Verifying quantity, quality, and matching against purchase orders.
- Organizing and storing inventory: Arranging items logically for accessibility and preventing damage/loss.
- Organizing and storing inventory: Arranging items logically for accessibility and preventing damage/loss – getting it signed off by the HOS and maintaining a file of the same for audit purposes.
- Inventory Count : Carrying out inventory count and informing relevant parties of any discrepancies noted.
- Ensuring security: Safeguarding the store and its contents from theft, damage, or unauthorized access.
- Obsolete Stock : Following the GEMS Policy for proper procedures for removing unusable items from inventory.Providing a list of all obsolete stock to the finance department in the month of July each year.
Financial Responsibilities:
- Point of Sale (POS) Operations:Operating the POS machine for sales transactions, processing payments (cash, card, etc.), and generating receipts, being able to cancel the receipts in POS machine and maintain accuracy.
- Pricing Accuracy: Accurately entering and maintaining cost prices and sales prices
