Job Description
We are seeking for a dynamic Vice Principal to join our leadership team in the next academic year. The ideal candidate must be passionate about education, possess strong interpersonal skills, and have a proven track record of extremely effective leadership. The Vice Principal must share in the organizational vision and support the Principal in the overall administration of the school and will play a key role in shaping the educational environment and culture through school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of school policies and programs.
- Foster an inclusive, positive, safe, and happy school culture.
- Support teachers in curriculum development and instructional practices.
- Engage with parents, students, and the community to promote school initiatives.
- Provide strategic leadership for teaching and learning across the school to drive academic excellence, supported by targeted professional development and robust performance management.
- Manage student discipline and ensure a safe school environment.
- Evaluate staff performance and provide professional development opportunities.
- Engage with the school’s regulatory body and with GEMS Corporate.
Skills
Qualifications:
- Relevant and higher qualifications, Bachelors/ Master’s degree with a teaching qualification.
- Minimum of 8 years of teaching experience, with 5 years in a leadership role preferred.
Skills
- Strong and effective leadership skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to receive and give critical feedback.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
