Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Middle School English Teacher to teach students in Grades 6–8 within a CBSE curriculum framework. The successful candidate will foster a positive learning environment, develop students' language proficiency, critical thinking, communication skills, and appreciation for literature while supporting their academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with CBSE curriculum standards.
  • Teach language skills including reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and vocabulary.
  • Develop students' analytical and critical thinking abilities through literature and language activities.
  • Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs and abilities.
  • Integrate educational technology and innovative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.
  • Encourage active participation, creativity, and independent learning.
  • Establish and maintain a safe, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
  • Promote positive student behavior in accordance with school policies.
  • Foster respect, collaboration, and effective communication among students
  • Design and administer formative and summative assessments.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and academic progress.
  • Identify students requiring additional support and implement intervention strategies.

Skills

Qualifications and Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in English, English Literature, or a related field.
  • Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Master's Degree in English or Education is preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in English at the middle school level.
  • Experience teaching the CBSE curriculum is preferred.
  • Experience in UAE schools is an advantage.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong command of written and spoken English.
  • Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in educational technology and digital learning platforms.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
